2019 Memories in the Making

Join us for a night of fabulous food, live music, and a silent and live art auction honoring those living with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias. 

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Live Auction begins at 7:00 p.m.

Memories in the Making is a therapeutic art program offered to those who are living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Participants in the program meet one-on-one with a caregiver to reminisce about their favorite memories. The participants then portray those memories in a painting. The process can take many precious hours to complete. This occurs throughout many assisted living communities, memory care communities, nursing homes and adult day centers in the Quad Cities Area. The artwork is submitted and reviewed by a local guest artist and then presented at a live and silent auction.

The proceeds from Memories in the Making allow the Alzheimer's Association to continue to provide disease
education, sustain caregiver support programs, advance critical research for treatments and work towards the first survivor of Alzheimer's disease.
